Lines that touched me
I would like share few lines that touched me and somehow changed my course of living
This might help you too...
#1 first quotes that stays on top of
my mind,
“When money is lost,
nothing is lost,
When health is lost, something is lost,
When character is lost, everything is
lost”
By
About him, he saved us from the one of the toughest subject “DSP- digital
signal processing” famously known as degree stopping paper for the CSE. He made
it a pleasure to understand what it takes to love the subject. I inspire at his
friendly nature and down to earth personality. I wonder him how a human being
can be so tolerant and selfless? I would like to be like him, at least try to
inherit some of his qualities.
It was our last day in college, for us it was very hard to realize that
all 4 years was fully spent and we are left with few minutes for the one last
bell to ring. It was the time when we saw the painful truth “it the end of the
college days and time for next step in life”.
Our professor walked
into our class smiling. We whole heartedly rose for him as a token of love and
respect. He spoke about many things, about being a lecturer and happiness that
he carries for that. As part of speech he gave us these lines.
These
lines gave me the buoyancy and perseverance to preserve my “character”. He
inclined me to adopt some quality from him. A wonderful man.

“Arise, awake and
stop not until your goal is reached”
By
Swami Vivekanandha
We all know about him. So let me
start with “how these lines influence my way of living”.
Everyone has goals to reach. We
work towards it by all means, no doubt in that.
This quote pursuit me towards my
goal. When my means of attaining my goals aren’t working, this quote gives me
the determination to go on with it till I succeed.

“This shall pass away”
By a
Church father
One day,
I was very baffled with tons of thoughts. It was a very crucial
period in my life where I had to decide on many things. Somehow, I landed into
a church in my locality (no idea why did I walk into that place). I was seated
in the last benches at the church and lost in my thoughts. I was seated there
for an hour or so the church father walked to me, and gently asked “My son why
are you seated here? I understand you are in an ocean of thoughts....” He spent some time with me. He concluded
saying “don’t worry my son, this shall pass away”.
Whenever
I face a storm, I get reminded about this quote. It makes me feel better.
#4
“Fixing the blame
never fix the problem”
I read
this from a cubicle at my office. In IT industry we always get tangled because
of someone’s work. I always get reminded about this quote when I meet such a
circumstance. This considerably changed my way of working. I keep tell this to
my team members and fresher(s) who whines about “someone’s bug”.
#5
I feel
being honest may not pay you immediately but certainly will pay off one day. I
wanted to be a rich man who can continue to afford for this luxury, as I did so
far.

“Don’t work for
money”
&
“Word given is
given, no matter what it takes”
By
About my boss, he is very assertive,
friendly, enthusiastic, good singer and “top notch technical” person. Can’t
mask our bugs. I enjoyed working
with him, absorbed many things from him. It’s very hard to make him satisfied, very
first comment from him for most our work used to be “Can be better”.
These lines are some of his words which
actually educated us with some professional ethics. He gave us the practice to
brazen our ideas. It’s because of him we learned to pay attention to very small
things that adds value to our work.
